2008 HEALTHCARE GOALS
The future of Healthcare is on the forefront of many residents’ concerns this year. In my work with the California State Association of Counties and the Urban Counties Caucus, it remains my priority to address the emerging issues of healthcare reform. I recognize the challenges of healthcare to our community and economy and continue to support our Ventura County Health Care Agency’s mission to provide access to quality, cost effective and culturally relevant health care. With our system of care providing medical homes for thousands, and the re-opening of the Santa Paula Hospital, we are strongly positioned as a leader in providing health care for our county residents.
